Highgate-2

The clients required off-street parking and a safe, secure area for children at the front of their property.

The existing hedge was removed and the area opened up to accommodate two cars and an enclosed storage area.

Red bricks were chosen to complement the front of the house.

Sandstone paving laid in a random pattern matches the existing old yorkstone path (relaid) that leads to the front entrance.  Bespoke wrought iron railings and an entry phone provide both security and privacy.

Six months later, the clients' back garden was partially re-landscaped.

A previously unused, boggy area behind a mature conifer tree was turned into a children's play area complete with decking and astro-turf.

A large timber summerhouse was constructed on a raised platform. A screen of bamboos will, in time, give the area some seclusion.
